The Contractor shall be responsible for removing and replacing the existing remedial waterstop system on the downstream side of the Powerhouse with a new remedial waterstop system in the joints between monoliths as indicated on the drawings. The installation of the remedial waterstop system shall consist of completely removing the existing waterstop material consisting of resin impregnated felt liner and filler material and replacing with a flexible liner system and filler material. The liner and filler shall be a system that can be removed without damaging the liner for future maintenance of the waterstop. The Contractor shall submit the remedial waterstop system for approval. After the remedial waterstop system is approved by the Government, the Contractor shall install the remedial waterstop system. Following installation of the waterstop, the Contractor shall clean the site to preconstruction condition. The Contractor shall then submit a final report upon completion of the work. The solicitation will contain drawings and specifications when posted.
