Summary

A reclaimed, recycled, passive solar, tiny house on wheels When Jenine Alexander and Amy Hutto set out to build an efficient, near zero energy home, they opted for small: to be exact, 128 square feet. To get around minimum size standards, they put it on wheels. They used as much salvaged material as possible. The result: a tiny mobile home with passive solar design, bamboo flooring, reclaimed pine ceilings, denim-cotton insulation, reclaimed granite countertops and salvaged (but new) high energy efficiency doors and windows.
