On November 12, 2018, BEM Systems, Inc. (BEM) welcomed Kevin Courtney as Director for BEM’s Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) business sector. Mr. Courtney will be responsible for directing BEM’s EMIS product development, software implementations, and provide direction and leadership in all system deployments. Mr. Courtney will also guide the redesign and customer migration strategy for the PAECETrak suite of software products, the industry leader for Right of Way and permitting systems for state DOTs and other public and private transportation entities. This major redesign of PAECETrak V2 is expected to be introduced by the spring of 2019.
Kevin holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from Stony Brook University, and an M.S. in Operations Research & Statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has over 30 years of experience as a software product executive focusing on product design, product management, product marketing, team leadership, and P/L responsibility. His technical strengths include data modeling, business intelligence, big data analytics, predictive analytics.
Prior to joining BEM, Kevin has held executive leadership positions developing software products and solutions in several industries including electric utilities, database security/monitoring, pharma, and media/advertising. As an entrepreneur, he founded a software company that ultimately rose to the Inc. 500.
